Who is responsible for your data

What we collect

When you ask us to call you: your name, town, phone number, email and message.

When you call or email us: the details you give us.

When you order: your name, address, phone number, email and order details.

If you order and use the ROT deduction: your personal ID number and property designation, which Skatteverket requires.

When you have allowed statistics and visit the site: how you use it, such as which pages you view, which browser and device you use, and roughly where you are. Google Analytics does not log or store your IP address.

Why we use it

To answer your request and book a home visit, as steps you’ve asked us to take before an agreement. To carry out and invoice your order, as part of our contract with you. To apply for your ROT deduction, as the law requires. To invoice and keep accounts, as the law requires. To handle warranty claims, as part of our contract with you. To count visits and see how the site is used, with your consent. It only starts once you have allowed statistics cookies, and you can withdraw your consent at any time under Cookie settings in the footer.

If you ticked the box for news, we email you news and offers, with your consent. You can unsubscribe by replying to any email or emailing info@rolandsystem.se.

How long we keep it

Callback requests that don’t lead to an order: 12 months. Order and invoice records: 7 years, as Swedish bookkeeping law requires.

Customer details: for as long as you’re a customer, and then for the warranty period (5 years on doors, 1 year on interiors).

User-level data in Google Analytics: 14 months.

Email address for news: until you unsubscribe.

Who can see it

Our staff. Skatteverket, for ROT. External advisers in digital development and legal matters. Authorities, when the law requires it. Companies that host our website and email, under data processing agreements; some may access data from outside the EU/EEA, and when they do, the EU’s standard contractual clauses apply. We transfer personal data to India, which the EU has not assessed as providing adequate protection. The transfer is made under our group company Bomann Norge AS’s agreement, based on the EU Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Decision (EU) 2021/914). You can get a copy from gdpr@bomann.no. If you click to load the map, Google receives your IP address. If you have allowed statistics, Google (Google Analytics) handles the data as our data processor. It may be transferred to Google LLC in the US, which has certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. We never sell your personal data.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, have it deleted, limit or object to how we use it, and take it with you. You can withdraw your consent at any time. Contact info@rolandsystem.se. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
